How to Make Stovetop Popcorn
All you need is Aksoy Popcorn Kernels, a heavy-bottomed pot with a lid, cooking oil and your preferred seasoning.
- Add oil to the pot and place over medium heat.
- Add two kernels first to check the temperature.
- Once they pop, add the remaining kernels and briefly remove the pot from the heat.
- Return to the heat with the lid on and gently shake the pot occasionally.
- Leave the lid slightly vented so excess steam can escape.
- Remove from the heat when the popping slows significantly.
- Transfer to a bowl and season to taste.
