Aksoy Double Acting Baking Powder – For Cakes, Bread, Desserts & Baking
Reliable Raising for Everyday Baking
Aksoy Baking Powder is a food-grade raising agent used to help cakes, breads, muffins and other baked goods rise during baking.
It contains sodium bicarbonate together with an acidic component. When moisture is added, the ingredients react and release carbon dioxide.
These small bubbles help increase volume and create a lighter texture in a wide range of baked recipes.
Baking Powder vs Baking Soda
Baking powder contains sodium bicarbonate together with an acidic component, allowing the raising reaction to take place when moisture is added.
Baking soda is sodium bicarbonate on its own and normally requires an acidic ingredient in the recipe to create a similar leavening effect.
