Fine Brown Bulgur for Quick Meals
Aksoy Fine Brown Bulgur is made from red wheat and processed into a fine grain for quick preparation.
Compared with yellow bulgur, brown bulgur has a darker appearance and a more pronounced flavour.
Its fine texture makes it well suited to salads, meze, side dishes and a variety of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern-style recipes.
How to Prepare Fine Brown Bulgur
- Add 1 cup of Aksoy Fine Brown Bulgur to a large bowl.
- Pour over approximately 2 cups of boiling water.
- Cover and leave to soak for around 10–12 minutes.
- Check the texture, drain any excess water if needed and fluff before serving.
Flavour & Serving Ideas
Fine brown bulgur has a nutty flavour and a soft, slightly chewy texture once prepared.
Serve with yoghurt, hummus, meze or combine with vegetables, herbs and seasonings.
